The annual Frolic Parade is a celebration of community! Village residents and their guests line the streets as entries representing local organizations and businesses pass through downtown Mount Horeb on their way to the Frolic grounds.
The parade will begin Sunday, June 12, at noon. The route, which begins at Mount Horeb Middle School and ends on the Frolic grounds at Grundahl Park, will have a different route in 2022 and 2023 due to the Highway 69 detour utilizing Main Street. Please check back in mid-May for the finalized route information.
Our announcers, Ellen and Peter Walton, will describe the various parade entries from a to-be-determined spot along the route, and provide tidbits of Frolic history.
Parade Rules
No parade entrants may engage in any illegal, offensive or hateful behavior or ideology that threatens the safety and/or livelihood of parade participants, spectators and event sponsors. All participants must demonstrate good common sense and act in the best interest of the community at this inclusive event. Failure to do so will result in immediate removal from the parade, and a ban on future parade participation.
