Registration will open in April for your favorite spring small-town run/walk: the Norsk Run! The event distance options are a 2-mile run/walk or a 5-mile run. The starting line is on Parkway Drive next to Grundahl Park. Runners and walkers will head south on Blue Mounds Street, with the 2-milers turning back near Docken Road, and the 5-milers turning back near Barton Road. The race finish line is in Grundahl Park.
The top male and female finishers overall will receive a trophy. Age group top finishers will receive a medal (first place) or ribbon (second and third place).
Sign up before May 31 for the early bird discount of $20 per entry; after that, the entry fee will go up to $25. Same-day registration is available, but you must arrive before 8 a.m. because the line can be long, and we don’t want you to miss the start of the race!
Thanks to the Knights of Columbus Council #10559 for organizing our annual run/walk!
